    Is this event the PITA AGM & Annual Telecommunications Conference & Tradeeshow?

    The AGM is a meeting of members, held annually and combined with an Annual Telecommunications Conference and Tradeshow. So this event is YES, it is the Annual Conference and Tradeshow without the AGM;

    -the following will help explain:
    The AGM allow members and management to discuss the welfare of PITA organisation, consider, deliberate and approve developments, annual strategy, plans and budget to meet the objectives of PITA. This AGM meeting usually takes only one day or less, and so to make the travel worthwhile, the 3-4 day conference and tradeshow is organised with it.

    However, with the COVID restrictions and travel borders closed, the AGM has now moved to a process of Circular Resolutions, while the conferences, tradeshow and training are to be held online, and thus this PITA Business Forum & Expo. The AGM wil be conducted via the Circular Resolutions and there will be no meeting as it mainly involves circulation of reports and AGM papers for members resolutions.

    What are the main activities of this Business Forum and Expo

    Communications Data Group

    As Vice President of Product Development, I have the responsibility of defining and executing our product development for MBS, CDG's robust, scalable web and mobile billing solution. I manage the product development and conversion groups, a talented team of programming, design, and tech support specialists that are not only knowledgeable about the product as a whole, but are also highly specialized in developing and supporting very specific parts of our integrated systems.

    Aside from my management role, CDG also affords me a very unique opportunity to work closely with our client partners every step of the way as they migrate to CDG’s MBS products. I perform the initial demo for clients, then gather vital onboarding information, guide them through the conversion process and support them through the first live billing and beyond. This involvement forges a strong relationship with each of our clients and develops a clearly defined point of contact, as well as a distinct understanding of their billing, operational setup and business needs.

    We have found that the best ideas for product development have come from our client partners, and we truly value the powers of mutual innovation and collaboration to provide valuable insight into the direction of our rapidly changing marketplace. We use these insights and collaborations to develop innovative technology strategies that will continue to position CDG and its client partners as clear leaders within our industries.
